This is what I'm currently working on. Wanted to post it because I haven't posted for a couple of days and I should!

Tried to see if I could emulate the look of Bobby Chiu. Was watching one of his videos on YouTube and this is what this is based off of. His style is awesome, one of my main influences at the moment!

 

Practice, practice, practice! Probably wondering why i'm uploading unfinished crap. Doing it to discipline myself into actually posting stuff. Which in turn makes me want to draw.

Gonna start a concept art sketchbook thread soon and start getting some feedback from the very talented people there!

I recently bought myself George B. Bridgman's book on constructive anatomy. Some stunning drawings in here, definitely recommend. Will be purchasing his life drawing book soon as I've heard that is a particularly good one of his.

So I drew an orange in a top hat. Looks a very happy chappy.

So this is where I' at right now. Think i'm probably going to leave it here. There's a nagging in the back of my head chewing me out because I'm eyeballing the official art. It's been fun doing this but I want to draw something of my own now.

This is what i'm currently doing. Trying to force myself to paint different things and using colours etc that i'm not 100% comfortable with. This is inspired by the cover art on Fable 3.

The main purpose of this blog is to document my progress as a means of improving my craft. Though I study graphic design my heart lies within the world of illustration. This blog is where I will post my work and inspirations as I go on in my epic quest of improving my art and myself.
